Lifetime achievement award for finance director
Our group director of finance, Paul Phillips, has been handed a lifetime achievement award at the prestigious Housing Finance Awards 2019.
Paul, who joined Notting Hill Housing in 2004, was named as winner on Wednesday 20 March.
Judges said: “Paul has been a distinguished finance director in the sector for many years and has been responsible for much of the success of Notting Hill Genesis and its predecessor companies.”
This is amazing. I’m really grateful and want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. I couldn’t win an award like this without the fantastic support of my colleagues at Notting Hill Genesis.
Responsible for the financial management and accounts recording throughout the group, Paul joined from Servite Houses, where he had been Finance Director for eight years and led on their first Private Finance Initiative project.
Prior to that, he worked at Knightstone Housing Association, United Kingdon Housing Trust, the Housing Corporation and London Transport.
Kate Davies, chief executive of Notting Hill Genesis said: “This is a very well-deserved award. Paul is a vital and valued member of our board and is rightly respected across the industry.
“His ability and drive to ensure we have the financial strength to provide the homes so desperately needed in London and the south east is fundamental to the great work we do.”
The Housing Finance Awards are run by the National Housing Federation.
